Huge and clean rooms with central heating, an individual safe, and multi-channel TV. Very-very nice and polite staff, exceptionally comfortable beds. Great and unbeatable location of the place - 5 minutes walk from bus station.

its location was exceptionally nice, on the cliff. and it was also close enough to rocky cliffs jutting out into the beautiful blue-green black sea.

The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating. The location was excellent with a stunning view and close proximity to the city center and beach. The adjacent villa was perfect for two couples traveling together, offering privacy and a spacious balcony. The 24-hour "minibar" was a convenient touch, providing drinks at store prices. The anticipation of the owner's guests' needs made our stay even more special. The restaurant served one of the best lambrusco wines we've ever had. The hotel offered personalized service and made us feel at home. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The hotel's location on a cliff with a beautiful sea view was breathtaking. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was also a natural beach nearby. The hotel was well-equipped and had great service. The breakfast was superb. The staff made us feel like VIP guests. We enjoyed access to the beach and sun loungers. Pet-friendly and with air conditioning, it was a wonderful stay.

Small but great hotel, magnificent location. Relaxing athmosphere and friendly attitude. Probably the finest cuisine in the city. Would recomend to anyone for a romantic holiday. We spent our first honeymoon week there - couldn't be better.

Virtually everything about Hotel Agata Beach is great. I would say that it's a little gem. To begin with, the location is great. Right on the cliffs which define the south of Akhtopol bay. The sea views and sounds, particularly in the morning and evening are a true joy. Then there is the hotel itself. Small (it has that special something of boutique hotels) and with an attention to detail rivaling that of five star hotels. Almost everything is well thought of, modern and high quality. Few economies seem to have been made. The attention to detail is evident. For example: the tiles and glass walls are very high quality, the wall colours in shades of brown and white compliment each other nicely, the sanitary objects are some of the best I have seen in the hotel industry (for instance the toilet seat cover is made of certified antibacterial plastic), the air conditioning units are a leading brand name and truly powerful (not like those centralised units which often do nothing), the TVs are the biggest I have ever seen in a hotel (even Four Seasons might not have 40+ inches), the furniture is simple yet has that solid feel of quality in it, and many, many more. It is evident throughout that the management owns the hotel and has invested not just money but also involvement in making everything as enjoyable as possible. The courtyard is equally nice, the restaurant serves great and elaborate courses, the staff and the management are very friendly and helpful (just bring along your French and English knowledge), and the jacuzzis are a welcome addition for those who like them (we are not exactly fans). We liked the hotel to the extent that we extended our holiday with an additional two days.
I would give the hotel a mark of 10 out of 10, if there weren't for some drawbacks. First there are the room doors which are insufficiently soundproofed. You can hear what your neighbours (and we had a lot of noisy neighbours) are doing in their rooms through them (so you hear through 2 doors). And that is sad since the walls are soundproofed enough. Perhaps in the future they could be upgraded (it should not be that difficult). And then there is the issue of the hotel's terraces and restaurant which don't effectively close until 1 am. It may be nice for outside guests, but for the guests which are trying to get some rest, closing it by 00 hours the latest would be a welcome improvement. So my final mark stands somewhere between 9 and 9,5 out of 10.

The room was nicely furnished and amazing. The bathroom was nice. The location is lovely, close to a very nice restaurant and beautiful rocky cliffs jutting out into the blue-green Black Sea and Bulgaria-Veleka. Excellent service overall. Parking next to the hotel. The staff were welcoming and pleasant, with smiling faces.

It was one of the best hotels under 100€ we have ever stayed. Real gem and great value. Extremaly friendly and helpful staff greetings us with welcome drinks (perfect mojito). Fantastic hotel design, great (healthy, romantic or... sexy) jacuzzi on the roof terrace with amazing views over the Black Sea, rocks and Ahtopol - open 24/24, the second larger jacuzzi in front of the hotel. Great complimentary breakfast and food in restaurant (at reasonable price).
A bit far from the world and no sea beach (beautiful rocky seashore below + 2 jacuzzi instead)... which we finally found a big plus.

Great hotel! One of the best we have ever been. Should be 4* at least! The staff was very friendly! The apartment had great view, very good furniture. The jacuzzi on the roof is a total must see. It is possible to reserve it for private use, works 24/7. The breakfast was very good, big enough and with all kinds of food. There is a small private-like beach just 20m from the hotel. The main bigger beach of Ahtopol is no more than 5 minute walk away.
Nothing, everything was perfect!

It is a new place and the attitude of the personnel and (I guess) owners is very good. Honestly, I cannot remember receiving a welcome drink anywhere else in Bulgaria so far :) The breakfast is very good and the view from the seafront tables of the restaurant is magnificent.
The housekeeping service was poor. The bathroom did not have enough hangers and was a bit dark. "The garden" is not exactly a garden, but some tables and chairs around a jacuzzi. The restaurant is advertised as French, but was playing loud Greek music every night.... Overall, we expected a bit more for the money we paid to stay in Ahtopol.

Fantastic location on the edge of the cliffs. Rooms were some of the best we experienced in Bulgaria - modern and airy
Despite boasting French chefs all the food was badly over-cooked. When I complained I was told that they cooked the way that Bulgarians liked it.

The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, with the sea stretching out before us. We were able to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility it brought. The sandwiches served at the hotel were also delicious, adding to our overall enjoyment. We were also pleased to find out that the hotel allowed us to bring our dog along for our vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.

very nice hotel in quiet location, ahtopol is very quiet village which has escaped all the commercial stuff which is going on north of burgas, we hired a car a travelled around the beaches which are really nice, especially sinemorec near veleka river, so would definetely recommend if you wana escape all city madness and want to have chill out holidays
i guess only one downside was there was no proper shower in the bathroom, just corner jacuzzi with handshower which was fine to use, we just thought it was bit unusual...

It's a very nice hotel with quite friendly team. The restaurant is excellent. The hotel and the Ahtopol is quiet. The room was cleaned every day and the bathroom's window faced the see. The breakfast was full and delicious. The seaside "under" the hotel is rocky with a little sandy part and the water is clean. It' possible to dive there. We saw shoals, big cancers, cones, jellyfishes and other animals. The long (app. 800 m) sandy beach is a 10 minutes walking far form the hotel. It's very good for little children too. So, the hotel would has been 4 stars at least. Thank the hotel's team for the wonderful week. Tamás és Tünde
